What makes Platin canopies on supporting structure so special?

Unlike conventional self-supporting canopies, which are mounted directly on the wall and exert high forces on the frame profile, our innovation uses a special supporting structure made of swords and wall plates. This technology offers the following advantages:

• Optimum stability: Loads are not transferred directly to the wall, but are absorbed by the supporting structure.
• Flexibility: Depending on the load, the supports can be positioned variably.
• Concealed installation: the supporting structure remains invisible after installation.

• Large spans: support distances of up to 5.8 metres are possible.
• High snow loads of 85 kg/m²: Can also be used in snowy regions without compromising on safety.
• Compatible with all Platin side section variants and corner posts.
• Optional LED lighting: 1 transformer, 3 spotlights, motion detector.
• Increased snow loads thanks to additional load-bearing swords. (on request)

Technical details of the Platin canopy (245 mm):

• Supporting structure: Sword cantilever and wall panel (concealed in the canopy)
• Upper cladding: Uncoated aluminium
• Lower covering: Closed aluminium panels
• Drainage: 1 spout (standard position 11); for roof width > 2.500 mm: 2 spouts (position 8/11)
• Components Support centreboard:
  • Wall plate galvanised 200 x 200 x 15 mm, prepared for M16 / M12
  • Flat material galvanised 70 x 12 mm

Efficient drainag

The Platin canopy has a concealed, pyramid-shaped, folded aluminium cover that drains water away in a targeted manner. Drainage is possible:

• Via a waterspout on the side

• Optional: Concealed by the corner support or by the closed side section
