What is WPC?
WPC stands for "Wood-Plastic-Composite" or in German "Holz-Kunststoff-Verbundwerkstoff". WPC fencing, also known as plastic privacy fencing, combines wood (wood flour or hardwood fibres) and plastic with additives such as UV blockers and fire-retardant additives. Our WPC products consist of approx. 60% hardwood fibres, approx. 35% HDPE plastic and are rounded off with additives.
The production is carried out by extrusion, resulting in a robust decking board. Unlike wooden planks, WPC does not splinter or rot, making it ideal for garden applications such as decking and privacy fencing.
WPC resists weathering without regular oil or maintenance treatments.
