Our fence model Basic is a modern, stably welded metal steel fence that can also be used as a railing for fall protection.
With its hot-dip galvanized surface, it is rust-free and weather-resistant for many years.
The fence is easy to assemble, so anyone with DIY skills can manage the installation.
Assembly instructions, advice, and service come directly from the manufacturer Kirchberger Metall.

Details:
- all connections fully welded according to DIN 1090
- Material steel 235JR, hot-dip galvanized surface
- Frame made of 40x20 mm rectangular tube
- Bar infill made of 30 x 6mm flat steel
- Angled bracket 40 x 6mm
- Elongated holes in the mounting bracket allow for +/-10mm post spacing deviation to be compensated.
- incl. stainless steel screws, nuts, washers for fastening to the M8 bracket.
- incl. self-tapping screws for fastening the brackets to steel posts
or alternatively concrete screws for fastening to existing stone posts.

Use as a fence or railing?
- as a fence: Field length up to max. 2500 mm possible, height up to 1500 mm
- as a railing: Field length up to max. 1500 mm, height up to 1100 mm (withstands 1kN/m top rail load)

Additional information:
Often, when fencing, there are also walls or certain fall heights to consider.
A simple mesh panel fence no longer offers sufficient static stability here and is impermissible!

The regulations for railings and fall protection vary slightly from state to state, so please inform yourself beforehand.
We have summarized the essential general regulations here:

• The production of railings may only be carried out in companies certified according to the European standard DIN EIN 1090.
• From a fall height of already 100cm (Bavaria 50cm), a railing of at least 90cm height is necessary.
• From a fall height of 12m, a railing of at least 110cm height is necessary.
• All railing openings may not exceed 12cm, therefore bar spacing clear dimension max. 12cm
• Top rail loads of 0.5 kN/m without significant public traffic (private area), 1.0 kN/m with significant public traffic (public area)
